Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding features some big names from film and TV, and they'll be joined by veteran video game voice actor Troy Baker, and writer and actress Emily O'Brien.
O'Brien shared an Instagram post of herself with Norman Reedus and Troy Baker, writing, "Honored to be working alongside these two fine lads on [Hideo Kojima's] new project Death Stranding."Exit Theatre Mode
Baker's more memorable video game roles include The Last of Us' Joel, Infamous Second Son's Delsin, and Bioshock Infinite's Boker DeWitt.
Emily O'Brien's video game roles include Gamora in Telltale's Guardians of the Galaxy series, and Camille in League of Legends, while her more recent TV roles include The Young and the Restless, and Rock in a Hard Place.
The game remains somewhat mysterious, despite Kojima talking about elements of it, like death, and all of those babies. Kojima has also said it will encompass elements of social media.Exit Theatre Mode
Mads Mikkelson has had Death Stranding's plot explained to him, but says it was "so elaborate" that he "got lost," and Guillermo del Toro - who also features in the title - was expecting to see some gameplay last year, saying, "In Death Stranding I'm just a puppet. I don't know what he's gonna make me do. He's supposedly going to show me the gameplay at some point in the next couple of weeks."
Death Stranding is being built using Guerrilla Games' Decima Engine, and you can check out the graphics demo right here.
